Our nation is in the midst of an election of truly historic proportions. Millions of you worked tirelessly in grassroots efforts to persuade Dr. Rice to run for President. She has declined to run for the top office, but there are positive signs that she would consider accepting a VP nod.
Dr. Rice has the experience, temperment, credibility and leadership skills needed to lead this country in these trying times. America needs a president with vision, integrity and diplomatic prowess. And we need somebody who can inspire and lead.
That person is Dr. Rice.

Launched in February '02, Rice2008.com was the first grassroots organization to suggest a White House run by Dr. Rice. In recent weeks, several other websites promoting a Condi candidacy have sprung up. We welcome them. This isn't about us, this about a remarkable woman and what we believe she can do for our country.
We support Dr. Rice not simply because she can be elected. We think she will be a great leader and do truly great things for this nation and the world. Condoleezza's intelligence, compassion, determination and sheer brilliance; combined with her knowledge of and experience with world affairs would make Dr. Rice one of the best presidents of all time.
From a purely political standpoint, Condi's ability to attract women and minority voters makes it virutally impossible for the Democrats to win (something they've had a hard time doing even with these voters in their camp...)

behind the scenes--actively courting the Vice Presidential nomination. Although
pleased with these reports, we've been reluctant to publish them, up until now!
